Larder Lake Ontario - My Hometown, a personal reflection

Population about 1000 counting cats and dogs.

Nice friendly people, I'm not sure of the dogs

Rumor has it that the ice has finally melted on larder Lake.

Fish are biting, but the season isn't open yet, figure that one out yourself.

Houses are selling and being bought up by ...

We have about 15 Km of streets... some are even paved.

Modern luxuries like Hydro, water & sewer, phone, cable, internet are taken for granted.

We have a Municipal hall, reeve & council, a volunteer fire brigade.

A bar and a Legion hall for the thirsty.

1 LCBO, has beer too.

1 gas bar and bait shop.

1 grocery store and video outlet.

2 places to get a coffee and a meal.

2 churches.

lots of playgrounds for kids.

You can hear the frogs at dusk and the birds at dawn. Some say they can hear the fish swimming in Larder Lake.
